Whilst in the Côte d'Azur I sprinkled some work into my play, styling a creative shoot for Photographer Mick Ackland. He, Make-up Artist Natasha Devedlaka, two models and I took to the hills for a weekend shoot in Tourrettes.
Tourrettes-Sur-Loup is a sleepy artian's village, found along winding roads between the Riviera and the French Alpes. This Charming town was home for the weekend; we all lived, slept and worked together in an adorable hillside Villa, which boasted the most spectacular views!
On the Sunday we took a road-trip South along the coast to Monaco. This car journey proved to be the ultimate bonding experience, reminiscent of family holidays in France. We piled into our questionably offbeat rental wagon; (which can only be described as a toaster on wheels.) Freshly steamed garments hanging in every window, we clumsily zig-zagged down the hair-pin turns through the mountains.
Once in Monaco I had the challenge of dressing the models on location. Luckily our rental car had a sizable boot, which doubled as a fitting room in a Monaco car park. The models looked breathtaking, and more Yacht to shore, than car park to set. ;)
When I wasn't busy steaming, pinning or dressing models I snapped a few "behind the scenes" photos with my iPhone. I thought I'd share this sneak peak with you. Enjoy and stay tuned for the final images.
